On Tuesday 31st of March, students from Prep to Grade 6 visited Risdon Brook Dam.
We were very blessed with amazing weather (after much prayer for sunshine!) which meant students could go for a walk around the dam as well as play and eat lunch together.
After arriving and setting up; students and teachers set off on their walk around the dam. Some students were very excited to see different animals in their natural habitats, whilst others happily collected pine cones along the way!
After the walk (and several head-counts), the students were able to have their lunch and a play together before boarding the bus and returning to school.
Overall, it was a wonderful day spent together. Students represented the school in such a positive way; following instructions, asking questions and helping one another around the dam. Every teacher should be proud of their class' behaviour and participation, I am especially proud of my 3/4s!
